With a profound understanding of what makes the tech industry thrive, Lunar Owl’s founder, Howard, draws on his vast experience of advising leadership teams of large companies on their next move to grow the reach of their businesses. Through strategic direction, innovation, quality execution, and advanced planning methods, he has been able to help businesses and individuals adapt to today’s market dynamics and continue to compete in the ever-changing and evolving tech industry. With Lunar Owl, he brings his years of experience and helps clients build their own strategic vision designed to move them toward their unique business goals. Industry Experience
Howard’s education includes a BBA from The University of Michigan, an MBA from The University of Detroit, and he was also a CPA at PwC.
With a remote controller in hand and Final Fantasy 7 on the screen, Colin knew he had a profound interest in video games. This enthusiasm experienced at the age of 4 when he received his first console has stayed with him to this day as he remains an avid gamer. Enjoying both AAA blockbuster experiences like Black Myth: Wukong, Doom Eternal, and Ghosts of Tsushima, as well as smaller indie gems such as Balatro and Disco Elysium, his experience in the gaming arena spans far and wide.
Following his appreciation for gaming, Colin has been able to channel his knowledge into a successful consulting venture where he found his next passion: providing advisory services to independent developers who are equally as passionate about the gaming industry as he is. Having a consistent pulse on the market, he has a deep understanding of what drives consumers. With 8 years of experience in a Business Development role for video game development studios and various agencies, Colin has proven he has the natural ability to connect and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients. He has a talent for understanding problem areas and identifying the right solution for each challenge that comes into the equation. It is this exact passion and fervency that guides his desire to help clients achieve their dreams.
Under Lunar Owl Consulting, Colin helps match clients with the right partners to maximize the success of their business relationship. He has been able to secure publishing deals, equity deals, licensing deals, and W4H deals while working one-on-one with clients, leading them to the next level, and, ultimately, closer to their end-goals.
